• July 21, 1994- First Catskill-Delaware Natural Water Alliance, Inc.(CDNWA) Meeting at Phoenicia Fish and Game Association in Mt. Tremper.

• July 28, 1994- CDNWA addresses the Federated Sportsmen of Ulster County at their monthly meeting

• August 31, 1994- CDNWA holds conference with chemistry advisor Prof. David Tart and Biology advisor Tora Johnson at UCCC.

•September 10, 1994- CDNWA Exhibits and answers questions at Olive Day

•September 13, 1994- CDNWA Sends letters and information, with Jerry Bartlett to the Trout Unlimited NYS Council Meeting.

•September 28, 1994- CDNWA Attends public hearing detailing DEP's watershed regulations at Tri Valley School

• October 11, 1994 - CDNWA is represented at meeting in New Paltz DEC offices , concerning Shandaken Tunnel water releases.

• October 12, 1994 - CDNWA Gives oral and written comments at DEP hearing held at Onteora High School.

• November 30, 1994 - CDNWA Attends Watershed Chemical Treatment presentation at Ulster County Environmental Management Council to give comments and question safety of chemical program.

• March 9, 1995 - CDNWA Holds public meeting to inform the public about the latest international convention, held in Toronto, Canada, about "Zebra Mussel and other Aquatic Nuisance Organisms" Presented by Tora Johnson who attended this fifth international conference. The video tape was presented on local cable access channels.

• April 24, 1995 - Assemblyman John Guerin sets up a meeting with the Governor's staff member Erin Crotty, Tora Johnson  and CDNWA in Albany.

• April 25, 1995 - CDNWA Has meeting with Delaware River Keeper network at Catskill Center.

• June 1, 1995 - CDNWA is interviewed by Chris Stave, who is writing her Doctorate on the DEP and the people of the watershed.  Chris is working on her PhD in watershed management.  Chris has become a advisor to CDNWA.

• July 20, 1995 - CDNWA Had the first of its ongoing monthly meetings with the NYCDEP at their Ashokan office.  Invited by CDNWA  to attend these meetings are representatives from:

                                    - Federated Sportsmen of Ulster County

                                    - Trout Unlimited

                                    - Catskill Center

                                    - Ulster County Environmental Management Council

• September 1, 1995 - CDNWA is contacted by the State level of the NYSDEC (Coordinator of Watershed Affairs) to hold a future meeting with us on the NYCDEP Chemical Treatment Program.

• September 15, 1995 - CDNWA Attends meeting in Frost Valley on Watershed Education.

••1996  Successful negotiation with NYC to install a safe alternate to chlorine, ultraviolet, in water treatment at Pine Hill municipal plant. Chemical treatment plan revised by NYC after year long meetings (we are awaiting revised draft).

1/98 Enters into negotiations with NYC regarding pollution coming from the Shandaken tunnel

2/99 CDNWA obtains counsel PACE law clinic to continue negotiations and represent it and the coalition of groups brought together over this issue.

3/99 Negotiations continue through Mar 2000 when we were forced to file a complaint under the provisions of the clean water act because of continues point source pollution.

3/31/00 Litigation filed against NYC

2/24/03 wins Esopus River Lawsuit Against NYC

Decided: June 13, 2006 FEDERAL appeals court has upheld a $5 million penalty against New York City for violating clean water laws by discharging contaminants into its own watershed Changing how the clean water act was interpreted

2007 TU & CDNWA have all towns cities and the county sign a resolution if support of scientific flood response measures
