Catskill and Delaware Watersheds- located in Delaware, Greene, Schoharie, Sullivan, Ulster, and portions of Putnam and Westchester counties east of the Hudson River, provides about 90% of daily NYC's water.

The Catskill-Delaware Natural Water Alliance, Inc. has dedicated its purpose to preserve all of these resources for present and future generations since 1992. Most of the water is provided by precipitation (rain & snow) that falls within the Vital Watershed and is collected within the reservoirs.
